Stephanie Barnas

Profile
Stephanie is a licensed Realtor with Exit Landmark Realty in White Plains. She is licensed to sell Real Estate in both the State of Maryland and Virginia and she has over 10 years worth of experience in the field.
Prior to becoming an agent, Stephanie attended North Carolina State University for both her Undergraduate and Post Graduate schooling. In 2008 she received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature. She then went on to complete 2 years in the Graduate program earning herself a Master of Arts in French Language and Literature.
While studying as an Undergraduate, Stephanie worked for a Real Estate Attorney. Here she learned the ins and outs of the settlement process. She was trained in searching title, preparing settlement statements (HUD-1 Forms) and preparing and reviewing legal documents that are pertinent to the home buying process. She did this from 2005 to 2008, until another opportunity presented itself.
From 2008 to 2010 Stephanie focused on her studies and taught French 101 at NC State University. Upon graduation and after receiving her Masters, Stephanie moved back home to La Plata, with aspirations of becoming an FBI Field Agent. Instead, she began working for a local Real Estate and Settlement Attorney, and with his encouragement, she decided to get her Real Estate License and pursue what she really loved - helping people buy and sell homes.
Stephanie is the Immediate Past President of her local Chapter of Business Networking International and the recipient of the Southern Maryland Association of Realtors' prestigious "Rookie of the Year" award for 2012.
